Guy Fawkes.

Guy Fawkes is an annual celebration in Great Britain, usually around November 5. It involves bonfires and fireworks to commemorate the fail of the Gunpowder Plot - a guy by the name of Guy Fawkes had attempted to blow up Parliament but was caught just in time. You could say it's kind of similar to our 4th of July.

Kelsey, Elizabeth, and I went to the fireworks/bonfire at Battersea Park, which is on the southwest end of greater London. There were lots of different fair-type foods and kids running everywhere with glow sticks, sparklers, and light sabers. A pretty bomb holiday if you ask me (no pun intended.. haha). Side note - marshmallows are called "flumps" here.
