This the building in which I live. It's specifically houses students - not only AIU but other universities as well. The building is BRAND new. Which is nice, except not all the bugs have been hashed out. There has been a lot of problems with showers and Internet. I have Internet, obviously, but I have no shower pressure and the drain doesn't work... but they're going to fix that. I hope. Sorry if this pic is bad quality, I got it off the Internet.
Entrance to my flat. There are 4 bedrooms on each side, total of 8. Each of us has our own bathroom. The last door goes to a huge shared kitchen.

Inside my room...
I got lucky and have a corner room so mine is about 3 feet wider than everyone else's room. So nice!
The blue thing on the left is a closet and and behind my bed is where the bathroom is.
My desk... it's really long.
And my bathroom. It's like the size of a camper bathroom, but that's fine - at least I don't have to share it!Some odd things:
-To turn the lights on, you push the light switch down and vice versa.
-The light switch is on the OTHER side of my closet by my mirror - not by the door...
-On the window it says "Do not throw rubbish outside open windows." Love that it says rubbish...

Really neat to see your "flat". A picture is worth a thousand words! Got a postcard off in the mail today to you - will be curious to see how long it takes mail to get there.
